01 What is a text expander?

A text expander is a desktop tool that lets you type a short abbreviation (like /hello) and instantly replaces it with a full block of text. It works in any application: email, chat, CRM, code editors, anywhere you type.

02 How does team sharing work?

On Team and Business plans, admins can create shared snippet groups. Any snippet added to a shared group instantly appears for every team member in real-time. No manual syncing needed. You can also share groups across teams using invite codes.

03 Do you offer a free trial?

We don't offer a free trial. Instead, our Solo plan starts at just $4/month. Less than a coffee. You can cancel anytime, no long-term commitment. We're confident you'll see the value from day one.

04 What platforms are supported?

Keypand runs natively on Windows and macOS. It's built with Rust (via Tauri), so it uses minimal resources (under 10MB of RAM) while working system-wide in any application.

05 Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. All plans are cancel-anytime with no termination fees. If you cancel, you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. Your data (snippets, groups) will be preserved for 90 days after cancellation so you can export or resubscribe.

06 What happens to my data?

Your snippets are synced to our secure cloud and available on all your devices. You can export everything as JSON at any time from Settings. We never sell your data or use your snippets for anything other than powering your expansions.
